Uncle Chong, Aunt Clarysa and Simon

Yeah for more visitors! Chong and Clarysa recently came up for the weekend with their new dog, Simon. It was the our first time meeting Simon and the kids and the dog went crazy with excitement. We thought the excitement would mellow out by the end of the weekend but nope. The kids wouldn't leave him alone and Simon loved following the kids around. We started the weekend watching Paul's soccer game. It was fun to see Paul perform for his Uncle and Aunt. He even scored a goal! Simon came too and the kids took turns holding the leash. They wore Simon out.

You would think this would scare a baby but not my baby. It didn't phase her at all.

Of course a trip from Chong and Clarysa would not be complete without gifts. I don't think the kids have seen Chong and Clarysa without receiving some kind of gift.  This visit was no exception and the kids picked out some new legos at Target. This is one of the many perks of having an Uncle and Aunt with no other nieces or nephews. They spoil these kids rotten. It will be a rude awakening  for our kids when these two start having kids of their own and our kids are not their main focus.

It took awhile but Paul got his done too.

Clarysa brought Paige some other cute things that Paige has to have next to her when she sleeps.

We also got to go to a Trunk-or-Treat at our Church. This year we went with the Star Wars Theme. Paul has been talking about being Obi Won Kenobi since last year. Paige wanted to be a princess. Since Paul kept talking about being Obi Won, she decided she wanted to be Princess Leia. I thought Zoey would make the perfect Yoda. They were the cutest trio at the party.

We got to the party and both kids grabbed donuts. Awesome way to start the night of pure sugar:) I'm pretty sure this was Paige's first donut ever.

Last day with Chong, Clarysa and Simon.

We had such a fun weekend and it was hard to say goodbye. It was especially nice for Mom since Dad was in China.  Paul tried to guilt trip Chong into staying a little longer. The kids still ask about Simon and when they can see him again.
