Little Paul started soccer and Paul is the coach. It's really funny to watch him play because he jumps and prances around a lot. There isn't a whole lot of contact with the ball yet:) He gets out of the other players way when they have the ball instead of trying to get it himself. It's fun to have Dad coaching this year.
We drove up to Chico for Labor Day Weekend with Eric and Shayna to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday and also to just hang out. It was hot but we found fun ways to keep cool. The first day we went to Alligator Hole and played in the water. The second day we went to church and then celebrated Brandon's birthday. Labor Day we walked to a nearby park in the morning and then went swimming in the afternoon. It was so fun to all be together.

Paul had a day off of work so we went to Santa Cruz to hang out at the beach. We went to Natural Bridges State Park in the morning to see if we could find anything cool in the tide pools. Unfortunately, there wasn't much going on there. We then went to Capitola Beach for the rest of the afternoon. The waves are pretty chill there so it was great for the kids. I also got to meet up with one of friends from college who lives in Santa Cruz. It was fun to catch up with him and his prego wife. Hopefully, we can visit again soon.

I love the super sandy snot/wet under Paul's nose. You know which picture. Zoey is a natural beach goer. I miss you guys. Dang it, why did I move?
