Chong's Wedding and Parent's Visit

Right after Zoey's Baby Blessing, we took off for Manhattan Beach for Chong and Clarysa's wedding. They got married Monday, the 18th of July, at the Belamar Hotel in Manhattan. Chong has known Paul's family from the time Paul and I started dating in 2002 so naturally they are family to him as well. Paul's family followed us down to L.A. for the wedding. Paul was a groomsman, I was a bridesmaid, Little Paul was the ring bearer and Paige was a flower girl. I didn't think Paige would walk down the aisle alone so we had Brooklyn hold her hand and walk down with her. It worked out perfectly and everyone made it down nicely without any mishaps. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was so much fun. Lots of great dancing by Chong and his fellow friends. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos. Photos to come...

After the wedding, we drove back to San Jose. My parents wanted to tour the area around where we live before they headed back to Michigan. The next day we went to Carmel, the hike at Point Lobos and did the 17 Mile drive in Pebble Beach. The following day was spent in downtown Palo Alto and Stanford University. The last day of their visit we drove up to Napa Valley for the morning, San Francisco for the afternoon and had dinner at Brother's Korean Restaurant in SF where we met up with Paul and Chong and Clarysa. Chong and Clarysa were on their honeymoon but took some time to have dinner with us. They spent the night at our house on the way back down to LA. It was so nice to spend time with both the Proctor and Park families in July! We really miss everyone and wish we could be together more often.
